DIN Sanitary Union
KINGMAN DIN Sanitary Union is manufactured in accordance with DIN hygienic piping specifications, made of SS304/SS316L stainless steel to fit European DIN sanitary pipeline systems. The complete assembly consists of threaded body, flat ferrule and locking round nut, serving as a modular detachable connector for hygienic pipelines. The finely polished inner bore provides smooth fluid transition and supports CIP cleaning. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, dairy, beverage and bioengineering process systems complying with DIN requirements. Tight dimensional tolerances follow DIN standards, enabling direct connection with DIN sanitary pipes and matching fittings, and facilitating pipeline installation, segmented equipment disassembly and on-site maintenance for European projects.

Working Principle
The DIN sanitary union achieves face sealing via axial compression generated by thread pair. During assembly, place the flat ferrule and sanitary gasket against the end face of threaded body. Rotate the round nut to advance along external thread and compress the sealing assembly evenly. The gasket tightly contacts both sealing faces to form reliable isolation, preventing medium leakage and ingress of external contaminants. Media flows through the continuous smooth bore with low flow resistance, allowing CIP cleaning fluid to fully rinse the inner wall. The whole assembly absorbs minor pipeline misalignment and vibration to reduce overload risk on sealing faces. For inspection, cleaning or pipeline modification, reverse rotation of the round nut releases the fitting for quick pipeline opening, cleaning or equipment removal, fulfilling the maintainability design requirements of DIN hygienic process systems.
