Sanitary Tank Bottom Ball Valve
KINGMAN Sanitary Tank Bottom Ball Valve is made of SS304/SS316L stainless steel, specially designed for discharge service at tank bottom. The large tank flange can be welded directly to the tank base to eliminate residual dead volume inside the tank. The opposite end adopts sanitary tri-clamp connection for easy disassembly and cleaning. Split 3-piece body facilitates maintenance of internal sealing parts. Full bore passage ensures smooth media discharge and supports CIP online cleaning and SIP steam sterilization. It is widely used for bottom discharge control of food, pharmaceutical, bio-fermentation and liquid cooling storage tanks.

Working Principle
Sanitary Tank Bottom Ball Valve uses the handle to rotate the stem and turn the internal ball by 90° to control tank-bottom discharge on-off. When the ball bore aligns with the flow passage, media can be discharged smoothly from the tank; after a 90° rotation, the ball presses tightly against the seats to shut off discharge. The tank-bottom flange is welded integrally with the vessel to reduce dead zones found in conventional outlets. The split 3-piece body allows internal inspection and maintenance, while the tri-clamp end simplifies quick removal of downstream piping, making it suitable for intermittent discharge and periodic sterilization applications.
