Lined Tri-Clamp Fittings
KINGMAN lined tri-clamp fitting is a flexible hygienic connector specially engineered for corrosive process pipelines. It features stainless steel 304/316L tri-clamp ferrules paired with corrugated fluoroplastic hose body. Customers may pick PTFE lining or PFA lining for all medium-contacting surfaces. The tri-clamp ends enable rapid assembly and disassembly without welding. PTFE delivers solid general corrosion resistance with economical benefits for standard acid-base service. PFA provides superior surface smoothness, higher temperature tolerance and non-stick characteristics, ideal for high-purity, high-temperature processes with frequent CIP/SIP cycles. Both materials resist strong acids, alkalis and aggressive chemicals while meeting hygienic standards. Widely adopted in pharmaceutical, biotech, fine chemical, new energy and environmental sectors for vibration isolation, thermal movement absorption and misalignment correction in corrosive fluid piping.

Features
- Dual lining options of PTFE and PFA to match diverse process requirements. PTFE offers dependable corrosion resistance with cost advantages for common corrosive media. PFA boasts ultra-smooth inner surface, outstanding high-temperature performance and anti-sticking property, minimizing product buildup and suiting stringent high-purity production environments.
- Fully fluorine-wetted construction isolates corrosive fluid completely from stainless steel components. The corrugated fluoroplastic body serves as primary media barrier, preventing chemical attack on metal ferrules and avoiding metal contamination of process fluid.
- Low-friction fluoroplastic inner surface supports full hygienic cleanability. Both PTFE and PFA resist media adhesion and scaling. The specially designed corrugated profile enables complete draining and effective CIP/SIP treatment, eliminating trapped dead zones.
- Standard sanitary tri-clamp ends for simple field installation. Compatible globally with standard sanitary pipe components, allowing quick removal for inspection, maintenance or line reconfiguration without welding.
- Flexible corrugated structure absorbs multi-directional pipeline movement. It compensates axial expansion, lateral offset and angular misalignment, dampens mechanical vibration and noise, and relieves thermal stress to protect pumps, reactors and fixed piping.
- Seamless fluoroplastic forming ensures robust bonding. The PTFE or PFA liner is integrally formed, maintaining structural integrity under rated temperature and pressure cycling. It resists delamination, blistering or detachment during repeated flexing.
Working Principle
This lined tri-clamp fitting relies on elastic deformation of corrugated PTFE or PFA hose body. When piping undergoes thermal expansion/contraction, mechanical vibration or assembly offset, the corrugated fluoroplastic section flexes to absorb displacement and reduce stress transfer between rigid pipe sections and equipment. The fluoroplastic liner contains corrosive media and prevents contact with metal parts. Sanitary tri-clamp connections create reliable sealing joints, keeping fluid contained while allowing the assembly to flex and buffer mechanical loads.
